CDPAP (Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program) is to allow chronically ill and/or physically disabled individuals receiving home care services under the Medical Assistance program greater flexibility and freedom of choice in obtaining such services. The amazing part about this program is that it allows the individual to hire family members and friends, thus eliminating potential stress from strangers at home as well as language barrier issues.
